about
We picture this song playing on the loudspeaker of a submerged merry-go-round that was stumbled upon while exploring an abandoned amusement park. In reality, the song was written while hiking one day. Acoustic guitars in hand, the song was born from our surroundings allowing our environment to dip into our artistic well. As with any living organism, the song grew and developed into its final form. This is the first of three songs from our forthcoming sophomore EP entitled, Daydream Delirium.
lyrics
Impossible to trace the day
I'll wait until tomorrow
Serenade the moon away
Is this the price of sorrow?
It's a matter of opinion now
And you remained indifferent
Stumble as you take your bow
You said it's not what you meant
Far from where the cities bend
Back to when we would pretend
Simple words you redefine
Complicate your own design
Tell me that it resonates
When I say it with emotion
Such a charming way to hesitate
You got hung up on the notion
Did you find your entertainment here?
In the midst of conversation
Smiling ear to ear
As you lost the information
Far from where the cities bend
Back to when we would pretend
Simple words you redefine
Complicate your own design
Watch as the words burn on the page
Watch as the words burn on the page
